We are hiring Direct Support Professionals and Group Home Assistant Managers to support residents with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

Job Responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional:

  • Assist and supervise in activities of daily living skills
  • Administer or assist with prescribed medication
  • Light housekeeping
  • Assist with transportation
  • Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives
  • Data entry using Therap (EHR)
  • Assist residents in the pursuit of recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans

Job Requirements for Direct Support Professional:

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver's license in good standing and must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance
  • Strong communication skills
Job Responsibilities of a Group Home Assistant Manager:
  • Assisting the Group Home Manager with supervising all aspects of the group home
  • Share on-call responsibilities with the Group Home Manager
  • Assist with upholding Agency and licensing regulations
  • Assists with activities of daily living activities
  • Administer or assist with prescribed medication
  • Light housekeeping
  • Assist with transportation
  • Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives.
  • Data entry using Therap (EHR)
  • Assist residents in pursuing recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans
 

Job Requirements for a Group Home Assistant Manager:

 
  • HS diploma or equivalent  
  • Experience as a supervisor preferred and a minimum of one year working with people with intellectual, developmental, and related disabilities
  • A valid driver's license in good standing & must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
