We are hiring Direct Support Professionals, Group Home Managers, Assistant Group Home Managers & LPNs to support residents with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
Job Responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional:
- Assist and supervise in activities of daily living skills
- Administer or assist with prescribed medication
- Light housekeeping
- Assist with transportation
- Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives
- Data entry using Therap (EHR)
- Assist residents in the pursuit of recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans
Job Requirements for Direct Support Professional:
- HS diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license in good standing and must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance
- Strong communication skills
Job Responsibilities of a Group Home Manager and Assistant Manager:
- Supervise all aspects of the group home.
- Plan and conduct staff meetings and trainings.
- Conduct interviews and observations, provide feedback, and complete employee evaluations.
- Share on-call responsibilities with the group home Assistant Manager.
- Uphold agency and licensing regulations.
- Responsible for creating staff scheduling
- Assist with scheduling doctor's appointments.
- Responsible for program and client finances
- Assists and supervises in activities of daily living skills
- Administer or assist with prescribed medication.
- Light housekeeping
- Assist with transportation
- Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives.
- Data entry using Therap (EHR)
- Assist residents in pursuing recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans.
Job Requirements for a Group Home Manager and Assistant Manager:
- HS diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience as a supervisor and working with people with disabilities
- A valid driver's license in good standing & must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance
- Strong organizational and communication skills
