The New Jersey Institute for Disabilities (NJID) is one of the largest not-for-profit agencies of its kind in the nation providing services to infants, children and adults with developmental and related disabilities. NJID offers specialized facilities, programs and supports throughout New Jersey. Come join our dedicated staff of more than 500 and make a difference in someone's life!

We are currently recruiting for a Substitute Registered Nurse to work with students with multiple developmental and related disabilities aged 3 -21 years at Lakeview School located in Edison, NJ. Responsibilities include supervising care of students and staff in emergency situations, conducting nursing assessments and positioning of post-op students.

Job Requirements:

  • BA, BS or AA Degree in Nursing from an accredited college
  • A minimum of two year’s nursing experience with a pediatric population
  • New Jersey Registered Nurses License
