The New Jersey Institute for Disabilities (NJID) is one of the largest not-for-profit agencies of its kind in the nation providing services to infants, children and adults with developmental and related disabilities. NJID offers specialized facilities, programs and supports throughout New Jersey. Come join our dedicated staff of more than 500 and make a difference in someone's life!

We are currently recruiting for Special Educators in our Children's Center program. As a Special Educator with The Children's Center, you will provide early intervention services to infants and toddlers age 0 to 3 years according to the IFSP in natural environments and/or other community settings.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Special Education 
  • NJ certification of Teacher of the Handicapped/ Teacher of Students with Disabilities / Early Childhood Education
  • A valid driver's license
  • Pediatric experience preferred
